CP confirmed that it had proposed a merger which it envisaged would create an integrated coast-to-coast combination nick that would improve customer service, promote competition, alleviate congestion in North America specifically the key Chicago gateway and generate significant shareholder value . It believed this would offer creative alternatives for shippers, greater fluidity, increased capacity and improved efficiency industry-wide.
CP said that while regulatory concerns appear to be a major deterrent for railways considering mergers, it believes nick that given the right structure between the right players and thoughtful considerations and remedies to address shipper nick concerns , regulatory approval would be achievable.
The North American rail industry is currently facing the challenge of moving more freight than ever as oil production, crop yields and consumer demand grow, CP said, and the significant problems that beset the industry now will only worsen over time if solutions aren't put in place immediately . It felt that a pro-competition, customer-friendly, safety-focused railway combination is one such solution that could not be ignored on its merits by regulators .

CP/M pioneered the idea of a ROM based Basic Input Output/System (BIOS) for commonly dora the explor

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of CP/M, the Computer History Museum has released a package containing early source code for several versions of CP/M. Originally designed by [Gary Kildall] in 1973, Control Program for Microcomputers (CP/M) is an early operating system for microprocessor based computers. The OS was originally written for the Intel Intellec 8 , an Intel 8008 based computer. Since it was on an Intel machine, CP/M was written in PL/M (Programming Language for Microcomputers), a language [Kildall] had previously developed for Intel .
CP/M pioneered the idea of a ROM based Basic Input Output/System (BIOS) for commonly dora the explorer used routines on a given computer. The use of BIOS made CP/M easy to port. Eventually dora the explorer it was ported to thousands of different machines and architectures, including the Altair, IMSAI 8080, C-64, and C-128 and Apple II systems.
Gary and his company Digital Research , were one of the top contenders for the operating system on IBM’s new personal computer. Ultimately, Microsoft got the job by purchasing 86-DOS from Seattle Computer Products. Somewhat ironically, 86-DOS itself was written based on the CP/M Application Programming interface (API).
The source itself is an amazing trip back in time. Included are portions of CP/M 1.1, 1.3, 1.4, and 2.0. Portions of CP/M have been released previously. As with the previous files, this version includes modifications performed by z80-pack author dora the explorer [Udo Munk] in 2007. Version 1.3 is especially interesting as it is primarily scanned copies of the CP/M source code.
If you’re into vintage computing, and know how important CP/M was to the early days of personal computers, check out the CP/M source. If you find any interesting or clever bits of code, be sure let us know about it in the comments.
Wow this brings back memories. My first DIY computer was an 8008 I designed and built myself. Then I got a Z80 and put on CPM as my first real operating system. It was a good step for all of us in those days, today’s computers are so much more powerful.
Hah! +1
So you’re saying that the world would be a better place if instead of using a computer, the clerk at the registry of motor vehicles had to go find your file in a giant warehouse of filing cabinets?
Yeah memories… I remember wanting a Morrow MD11 with CPM (school had an RT11 based vax or something which we played star trek on), but all this faded when the IBMPC came out followed by the was it challenger clones? Halcyon days. It got me googling and i remember too the victor 9000/apricot as a big deal at the time..

Nope. The “too busy flying dora the explorer his plane” crap was microsoft doing what China and Russia call ‘official information’. It was spun by microsoft to make Gary look bad, but never really happened. As it was, IBM took microsofts quick and dirty operating system, which was 8000 lines of assembly, and then fixed 5000 bugs, and gave it back to microsoft. All IBM needed was someone to avoid anti-combine legislation. Too bad the feds never went after microsoft dora the explorer like that.
The way I understand it, is that the IBM people went on a mission to talk to Kildall about getting an OS and to Microsoft to get Basic, all in the same day (or in a few short days) some time in 1980 or so.
When they arrived at the Digital Research office (house?) they found him not there. Whether he forgot about the meeting, or couldn’t make it because of circumstances out of his control, or whether it was just utter contempt for IBM is not clear. IBM certainly didn’t tell DR what the meeting was all about, no-one had any idea that they were working on a PC and IBM had always made their own hardware and software so far (the PC was the first project to use off-the-shelf components), so maybe the folks at DR thought dora the explorer that IBM was just there to spy on them and see how things were done, and then take them out of business. dora the explorer
One of the first things they did when they arrived was ask for DR to sign a non-disclosure waiver to make sure that what they would discuss during the meeting dora the explorer wouldn’t get out, and Kildall’s wife didn’t want to sign anything without Kildall or a lawyer present.
The bottom line was that everyone apparently disliked each other on first sight: DR in their T-shirts and jeans and IBM folks in their suits with IBM 1970s “we own the computer industry” attitude and reputation.
So they went to Microsoft and of course Bill Gates, being the entrepreneur that he was, and having experience with non-disclosure agreements and licensing, had no problem with the IBM people and their NDA. Microsoft’s main product was Basic and they also sold compilers for other languages, and all they saw was an important potential new customer. IBM told Gates about the meeting at DR, and Gates quickly dora the explorer told them that in additio

Nicole at the races Cooke says ‘no more heroes’ but, truth be told, she is one of mine. And to top all that off, she is so damn nice too. I met Nicole through her dad Tony, who responded to an article of mine which was on about how the bad guys get Gran Fraudos but the clean folk get nothing, like Obree and Nicole, at the races and how much that sucks.
She was impressive as a cyclist of course, and her manner off the bike was equally striking. I’ve never met a professional rider as aware of the legacy they created nor as measured or as thoughtful in their answers . She was kind enough to give me time for an interview, and it was a conversation that went on long after the recorder was turned off.
NC: No, there there was Beijing when i came out in December 2007 and things weren’t looking at the races very Olympic at the races back then, but I rode the course, at the races and then of course I was there for the actual Olympics too.
NC: In some sections there were people cheering at the sides but by the time we got to the Great Wall of China and the actual circuit – there were only crowds allowed at the actual finish line so we had only about a kilometer of crowds cheering at the races there. There was a lot of fuss at the time about the authorities getting in the way of the sporting side of things but yeah it was .not very well organised!
The amount of attention at the races to detail was absolutely immense and I had thought through virtually at the races every tactical scenario. So yes, it was the moment that I crossed the line that it hit me [big smile from Nicole here].
NC: It was planned at the races by by Shane Sutton who hadn’t been to one women’s race that year. So obviously it was great for Emma to get her chance but the chances of success of it actually working out for me were quite slim, with a move like that.
cp: at the races Moving on. We were talking talking earlier today about women’s cycling and the fact that for many years you were fighting at the races an uphill battle in your career against the hierarchy and status quote that exists in cycling. Did that have a galvanising effect on your as a rider and as a person? at the races
NC: Absolutely. In terms of creating a pathway for a British rider to go from new talent to Olympic gold, yes, that didn’t exist before I came along. And as for a track championships for U16 girls, that was a year and a half of writing to the authorities as to why there should be such a championships.
Now there are those and the road U16 championships for girls which is a part of the legacy. I still think there is a way to go with British Cycling and then getting behind women s cycling. They’ve shown they can do it on the track but not on the road .
NC: Well my Dad when I was younger was the biggest source of support for me, talking about the tactics at the races of the races and about how they played out was a big feature of what we did after every race. I learned the tactics so that they became instinctive and doing that from a very young age was.very important. But I was very happy to also go and as and do a lot of learning by myself so going to race in Holland and learning from my frustrations really helped me to develop tactically.
NC: I’d say it was the desire to win, the blind desire to win, the desperation to win that characterised at the races most of my races, and I was able to channel all that into good tactics and good decisions, but there were times for example in the early World Championships where I just wanted to win so much that I was covering all the attacks.
NC: Well sometimes you do just have to take a chance and in road racing what your teammates are doing is really vital, to know what they are capable of on a given day. In terms of when a break goes it depends who is in it but, generally it is better to cover them but to try to be second or third.in the line so as to save more energy.
NC: Um no. Hopefully for most people it s an absolute love for the sport and that feeling that there s just nothing better than being out on the bike and being free and feeling powerful as an athlete.
NC: Well I did an interview in 2007 and said No more heroes for me because within two years of being out in Italy I d got to know some of the U23 lads in my area who told me that they were being given the ultimatum of doping at the races or not moving any further forward.
NC: at the races I started cycling from a very young age. I had the tactics, the climbing, the sprinting, I had the work ethic and I was successful. Yeah there were times when I was beaten by doped riders but, given a fair crack, there were times when I could still win.
The support of my parents was excellent and they gave me all I needed, but from a very young age, in particular the 98 Festina Tour [de France], I was aware that doping was a

We report final measurements of direct C P -violating asymmetries in charmless decays of neutral bottom hadrons to pairs of charged hadrons with the upgraded Collider Detector rose at the Fermilab Tevatron. Using the complete s = 1.96 TeV proton-antiproton collisions rose data set, corresponding to 9.3 fb 1 of integrated luminosity, we measure A ( Λ b 0 p π ) = + 0.06 0.07 ( stat ) 0.03 ( syst ) and A ( Λ b 0 p K ) = 0.10 0.08 ( stat ) 0.04 ( syst ) , compatible with no asymmetry. In addition we measure the C P -violating asymmetries in B s 0 K π + and B 0 K + π decays to be A ( B s 0 K π + ) = + 0.22 0.07 ( stat ) 0.02 ( syst ) and A ( B 0 K + π ) = 0.083 0.013 ( stat ) 0.004 ( syst ) , respectively, which are significantly different from zero and consistent with current world averages.

Bar a short period at the start of the second half when Maribor were very impressive, origin Sporting absolutely bossed tonight's clash, and, as a result, they deservedly pick up all three points. The victory moves them up to second place in Group G, two points ahead of Schalke, with just one group game left to play. It comes against group winners Chelsea, however, meaning that their place in the knockout round is far from confirmed. As for Maribor, they play Schalke in a game that will determine who finishes at the bottom of the group and who qualifies for the Europa League.
William darts through the middle of the pitch before playing a lovely one-two origin with Nani, and he then unleashes a great low shot that Handanovic is just about able to turn around the post with a fantastic one-handed save.
Great chance for Sporting! Carrillo twists and turns around three Maribor players before finding Nani at the far post with a brilliant cross, but the winger ends up sending his headed effort just wide of the goal.
What a miss by Carrillo! A great low cross from Nani finds Carrillo, who fires a shot towards goal that Handanovic is just about able to stop. The ball falls at the feet of the substitute once again, but this time he ends up skying it over the top of the crossbar from close range.
What origin a chance for Mario! origin Nani sprints forward and threads a brilliant through-ball into the path of the midfielder, who twists around Mejac before forcing Handanovic into another great save at the near post.

CERN recently went to a small conference Implications of LHCb measurements and future prospects, entirely devoted to the results of the collaboration LHCb. Among other things, there were presented the final data on the measurement of CP-violation in the B s mesons (hadrons with quark composition s-anti-b).
In general, the study of oscillations and CP-violation in heavy mesons - one of the main objectives of this detector. Neutral mesons spele have the curious property that due to the weak interaction have particle and antiparticle spontaneously spele mixed with each other. As a result of mixing two mesons are obtained with an uncertain quark composition and with different masses and lifetimes. A more subtle effect - this CP-violation, because of which the meson decay to some set of particles does not coincide with the same decay, spele in which all particles are changed into antiparticles.
All of these effects are very important not only for the world of elementary particles, but also to find out why our universe spele is dominated by matter over antimatter. CP-violation in heavy mesons is convenient because the Standard Model predicts a fairly small value for the mixing parameter φ s. In the background you can try to note the possible effects of new physics, which just reinforced for heavy mesons. spele In addition, several years ago, when the Tevatron for the first time to measure this value, it was abnormally large, much more predictions of the Standard Model. Error, spele however, were great, and so the main hopes were pinned on the Large Hadron Collider, and specifically, to experiment LHCb.
The first measurements at LHCb showed that the value φ s is not as great as claimed by the Tevatron. With the accumulation of measurement data specified. A few months ago published the results of measurements in the decay φ s on a combination of mesons J / ψ π + π -. Finally, today unveiled a new collaboration measurement results spele φ s, this time in the decay into J / ψ K + K -, and summed up under all these measurements.

We show that strong C P violation from the QCD axion can be responsible for the matter antimatter cool maths games asymmetry cool maths games of the Universe in the context of cold electroweak baryogenesis if the electroweak phase transition is delayed below the GeV scale. This can occur naturally if the Higgs couples to a O ( 100 ) GeV dilaton, as expected in some models where the Higgs is a pseudo-Nambu-Goldstone boson of a new strongly interacting sector at the TeV scale. The existence of such a second scalar resonance with a mass and properties similar to the Higgs boson will soon be tested at the LHC. In this context, the QCD axion would not only solve the strong cool maths games C P problem, but also the matter antimatter asymmetry and dark matter.

‘The deal is a non-starter': Analysts see little hope for CP Rail-CSX merger for now | Financial Post
Transportation
Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd. has reportedly approached CSX Corp. about a tie-up, but a merger of two major North American railroads has virtually no hope of getting a green light from regulators, according to several analysts.
The Wall Street Journal assassins creed 3 reported Sunday that Jacksonville, Fla.-based CSX rebuffed the proposal , which CP is said to have made last week, and it s unclear whether CP will come back to the table with another offer. When contacted, both CP and CSX said they wouldn t comment on market rumours and speculation.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding any possible deal, CSX shares jumped 5.9% to close at US$31.70 on Monday. Canadian markets were closed for the Thanksgiving holiday but CP shares fell 2.3% in New York to US$184.97. Based on Monday’s closing prices, the combined company would have a market capitalization of approximately assassins creed 3 US$63.5-billion.
The STB rules concerning Class 1 mergers have an arguably impossible hurdle rate, Credit Suisse analyst Allison Landry wrote in a note to clients. Therefore, in our opinion, the deal is a non-starter.
In 2000, the STB imposed a 15-month moratorium on Class 1 mergers after Canadian National Railway Co. tried to combine assassins creed 3 with BNSF Railway Co., now owned by Warren Buffett. No deals between two Class 1 railroads have happened assassins creed 3 since then.
CP may have an ace up its sleeve one of its directors, Linda Morgan, chaired the STB and its predecessor from 1995 to 2002 and would bring important knowledge of the regulatory requirements assassins creed 3 to any possible deal.
For an extended period, we ve insisted assassins creed 3 that the rational number of railroads in North America is two, and that interregional mergers would not reduce shippers competitive options, Mr. Schoonmaker wrote in a note to clients.
One important incentive for the merger would be reducing congestion in the all-important Chicago hub. Shippers have complained that it can take more than 24 hours just to pass through the city, which sees a quarter of all U.S. freight train traffic.
And just because CSX rejected CP s initial overture, that doesn t mean CP will give up. In fact, management could team up with Bill Ackman s Pershing Square the same hedge fund that orchestrated the proxy battle that brought in Hunter Harrison in 2012 to take a hostile offer directly to CSX s shareholders, Mr. Seidl said. Mr. Ackman is currently in the midst of doing exactly that in the pharma industry, assassins creed 3 where Pershing Square is backing a hostile acquisition bid by Valeant Pharmaceuticals International Inc. for Allergan Inc.
If CP and CSX are able to close a deal, that will likely assassins creed 3 kick off further consolidation among the Class 1 railroads “as carriers scramble to match the scale and pricing power of their peers,” Mr. Seidl said.
“This could eventually cut the number of North American Class 1s in half, something that the regulators will take under very serious consideration before giving their blessings on the first merger,” he wrote.

How a CP Rail-CSX Corp merger sims 3 could kick off a wave of railroad consolidation | Financial Post
Transportation
A merger between Canadian Pacific sims 3 Railway Ltd. and CSX Corp. could kick off a wave of consolidation in the rail industry, analysts say, that could cut the number of big North American sims 3 railroads sims 3 in half.
It s unclear whether any deal will get done following weekend reports that CSX rebuffed a takeover offer from CP. Even if the two railroads are able to agree on a price and other terms, regulators could still thwart any merger sims 3 over competitive concerns.
We believe the acceptance of this transaction by authorities would likely create further M&As in the sector as other railroads would then face a competitive disadvantage, Benoit Poirier, analyst at Desjardins Capital Markets, wrote in a note to clients.
Related CN Rail was stymied 15 years ago on U.S. rail merger. Will CP Rail be luckier? 'Railway renaissance': Why the rail industry is attracting the biggest names in finance 'The deal is a non-starter': Analysts see little hope for CP Rail-CSX merger for now
CN tried to buy BNSF Railway Co., now owned by Warren Buffett, in 1999 but the U.S. Surface Transportation Board (STB) intervened, putting a 15-month moratorium sims 3 on Class 1 mergers. No deals between two Class 1 railroads have happened since then, and the STB has said any merger would have to demonstrate that competition would be enhanced, and not merely preserved.
However, if the regulator approved a CP-CSX combination, CN may take another crack at a deal, said an industry analyst who asked not to be named because he hadn t yet published an analysis on the potential deal.
The read across to Norfolk Southern and Kansas City Southern s shares are positive, as both might be considered in play as other rails (CN, BNSF, Union Pacific Corp.) look to keep up by completing strategic transactions, sims 3 Citi analyst Christian Wetherbee wrote in a note to clients.
We believe this offer could catalyze a bidding war for CSX (other suitors could include BNSF, CN and Union Pacific) and even initiate another final round of mergers, depending on the STB s response, Mr. Schoonmaker wrote in a note to clients.
At an investor day earlier this month, CP CEO Hunter Harrison said end to end mergers combining eastern railroads with western railroads, for example sims 3 would make the most sense. A CP-CSX tie-up would fit this model, as CSX would add a significant network in the eastern U.S. to CP s existing cross-Canada lines.

Nov 21, 2014 CP light creates chiral nanostructures
When right- or left-handed circularly polarized light is shone onto dispersions uno of racemic cadmium tellurium nanoparticles, right- or left-handed uno twisted nanoribbons are produced. This new finding, from researchers in the US, Korea and Spain, could be useful for making a variety of chiral inorganic materials and even improve how nanostructures assemble to create sophisticated mesoscale constructs.
“The right- and left-handed twisted ribbons we made are more than 30% enantiomeric,” explains team leader Nicholas Kotov of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. An enantiomer is one of two stereoisomers that are mirror images of each other. “We also found that inorganic nanoparticles can be chiral in the same way as organic molecules, and that they can assemble into larger structures with ‘hierarchical’ chirality – the twisted nanoribbons in this case.”
The researchers obtained their results by examining uno the structures created when they exposed aqueous dispersions of racemic CdTe nanoparticles to right- or left-handed circularly polarized (CP) light. A racemic uno mixture is one that contains equal amounts of left- and right-handed enantiomers of a chiral molecule. Controlling chirality
Many organic molecules (and most biological ones) have a certain chirality (right- or left-handedness) and this intrinsic property uno can be determined using "chiroptical" spectroscopic techniques such as circular dichroism, uno optical rotatory dispersion and Raman optical activity. Here, scientists typically measure the small differences when left- and right-CP light interacts with the chiral uno sample.
“Using the chirality of the incident photons is also a very convenient way to control the chirality of the products we want to create,” Kotov tells nanotechweb.org . “The chiral photonic materials produced can be used to synthesize molecules for making drugs and insecticides, for example. uno Chiral interactions help make intricate mesocale architectures
The results might even help us better understand how chirality originated in nature. “Although our present work does not shed a lot of light on this subject, it does show that it is important that we now consider CP light-induced reactions in inorganic nanoparticles in addition to CP light-induced ones in organic matter when looking into the origins of chirality,” says Kotov. “Inorganic particles uno (although not CdTe) are obviously found on Earth, but they are present in stars and the stellar environment too.”
Our results also point to the possibility of making a variety of sophisticated chiral inorganic materials, he adds. “We uno are now also sure that chiral interactions between nanoparticles, which might have been considered to be weak, are in reality quite powerful. This new finding might be exploited to make self-assembled nanostructures to create intricate mesoscale architectures.” uno

Oil price weakness not a concern for rail industry, CP Rail and CSX say | Financial Post
Transportation
Two prominent rail executives said Wednesday they re not worried about the recent drop in oil prices, with CP s Hunter Harrison going so far as to say it could actually be a positive for the railway.
It looks like it ll be overall pretty good for the economy, it ll be pretty good for Canadian exports, Mr. Harrison, chief executive at Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd., told a Credit hero zero Suisse conference in New York. For our results in 15 it s a non-event.
Railway shares have been hammered over the past few trading days on concerns that growth in their crude-by-rail businesses will slow as producers reevaluate their projects in light of the steep decline in oil prices.
We signed a contract yesterday and people are beating on the door wanting hero zero more trains delivered next month, so there s some little inconsistencies in what you re hearing out there in the market, he said.
Last month, CP revealed that it had approached CSX about a potential hero zero merger, but those talks led nowhere. Both executives dismissed the possibility of a tie-up, even though Mr. Harrison has been a vocal advocate of industry consolidation.

How CN is outperforming s its more high-profile rival CP | Financial Post
Transportation
MONTREAL To get a real sense of the difference between Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd. and Canadian National Railway Co., you would be well served to look at the characteristics of their top shareholders.
At CP, activist investor Bill Ackman now the company s second-biggest holder after selling more than 10 million shares initiated a divisive proxy battle at the underperforming s railway in 2011, gaining control of its board and ousting CEO Fred Green in favour of outspoken railway veteran Hunter Harrison, who had just retired from CN.
By contrast, CN chief executive s Claude Mongeau has never even met his top shareholder, Bill Gates, who holds 10.6% of the railway s s shares through his holding company, Cascade Investment, and another 2.1% through the Bill & Melinda s Gates Foundation.
In a way, Mr. Ackman and Mr. Gates serve as proxies for the railways s they ve chosen s to invest in. Mr. Ackman and his choice for CEO, Mr. Harrison, are both frank, demanding leaders who attract attention wherever they go. Since Mr. Harrison took over the corner office at CP, the company has dramatically improved its performance, lowering its operating ratio to the mid-60s from the low-80s. (Operating ratio is a key measure of railroad efficiency that tracks operating costs as a percentage of revenue. A lower number is better.)
Related Ottawa tightens railway safety measures in wake of Lac-Megantic train disaster Railway renaissance': Why the rail industry is attracting the biggest names in finance With grain-hauling rules set to expire, railways and farmers spar over extension
But CN, run by the unassuming Mr. Mongeau, s is quietly outperforming CP on several fronts. CN s revenue for the first nine months of the year was nearly double that of CP, and CN s third-quarter operating s ratio was 58.8% versus 62.8% at CP. Mr. Mongeau was chief financial s officer under Mr. Harrison and succeeded him when he retired at the beginning of 2010.
Perhaps s this financial outperformance is why Mr. Mongeau is able to shrug off the recent push by Mr. Harrison for rail industry consolidation. In October, CP said it held exploratory conversations with competitor CSX Corp. about a possible merger, but they led nowhere.
Mr. s Harrison used those failed talks as an opportunity to advocate for industry consolidation. There have been no merger attempts between major North American railroads, known as Class 1s, since CN tried to acquire BNSF Railway Co. now owned by Warren Buffett in 1999. The U.S. Surface Transportation Board responded by putting a 15-month moratorium on Class 1 mergers and implementing new, stringent regulations.
I m not spending much time speculating about potential mergers, Mr. Mongeau said. It s a tall order to get a Class 1 transaction approved, and that view is shared by many. It makes it a bit of a daunting task, so you have to look at the alternatives instead.
But CN has an edge in Chicago. In 2007, under the leadership of Mr. Harrison before he crossed s to CP, CN bought the Elgin, Joliet and Eastern Railway, known as the EJ&E, from United States Steel Corp. The purchase gives CN a continuous route around Chicago and has improved train speed by 60% since 2009.
We ve spent more than half a billion dollars [in Chicago] between the acquisition of the EJ&E and all the investments we made to address community impacts and connect the railroads and build up capacity, he said.
Congestion has been worsening in key rail hubs like Chicago because s of an increased volume of nearly all the commodities shipped by railways, including crude oil, as pipeline s projects linger in regulatory limbo.
Rail shares took a beating Friday after the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries decided not to cut output despite a slump in oil prices, sending futures below the US$70-per-barrel mark for the first time since 2010. CN s shares fell nearly 4.5% on fears that the astronomical growth in crude-by-rail will slow down as a result.
Railroads are playing a complementary role to pipelines and I see that continuing for the long term whether or not Keystone gets approved s which, for the record, Mr. Mongeau believes will happen eventually.
Mr. Mongeau added that Western Canadian producers are better positioned to weather low oil prices than they were a few years ago thanks s to the growth in crude-by-rail. This has given them new ways to get their product to market and, in turn, lowered the spread between the prices they receive and the benchmark West Texas Intermediate price.
“It’s helped us gain market share gain market share against other modes, including pipelines, gain market share against all railroads, not just CP and that’s helping us grow at a low incremental s cost.”

Is it feasible to build a family house between two blocks of flats, in Barcelona, dream dictionary and create a private quiet space full of natural light? This building and warehouse are located on a plot of land between two blocks of flats, which represent difficulties to get natural light, as well as a comfortable relationship with the surroundings. At first thought, the site was not suitably located. The outdoor settings dream dictionary are not a welcoming environment dream dictionary for a family house. Another negative outstanding point is the fact that this place is extremely noisy. It gets the maximum of decibels according to regulations. The starting point of our project was to minimize the effect of these two points: noise and light. Greatly influenced by those two ideas, we created two different zones. The night zone situated close to the street, and the day one orientated to the inside part of the block. While the main facade was thought to give privacy dream dictionary and protect from the daily noise, the back one was designed to have as much light as possible. The first one is completely compact and stabilizes dream dictionary what appears to be a more closed appearance on the outside; and the interior one, which includes a terrace, is transparent, providing the air and the sunlight coming in. The most dominant architectural feature is the access of natural light inside the different spaces and rooms. This is due to a system of folding shutter blinds that protect from the extra solar radiation; and a succession of vertical spaces and zenithal skylights. The fact of living in such a space in the middle of a big city can be considered a big challenge, especially given the length of the site is 55 feet.

By the time personal computers based on microprocessors began to emerge in the mid-1970s, programmers had been writing operating systems the software that manages the computer hardware and provides commonly used services for application programs for about twenty years. Big mainframe computers had operating systems that were huge and complicated, created from hundreds of thousands of lines of code. But other operating systems, designed to fit in the small memory of minicomputers, were tiny. That was the kind that the PCs could use.
Computer Scientist Gary Kildall created just such an operating system in 1974 for a small computer called the “Intellec-8″ that Intel had designed to showcase their new microprocessors. Called “CP/M”, it was unlike most other operating girls games systems for small computers because it was written in PL/M, a portable higher-level language that he had designed earlier, rather than in the assembly-language of a particular computer. That meant that CP/M could be ported to run on many different personal computers. And if the applications were written in PL/M, they could be ported as well.
Gary Kildall at the first West Coast Computer Faire in the San Francisco Civic Auditorium in 1977 [CHM Object ID: 500004174 Tom Munnecke/Hulton Archive/Getty Images] The early availability of CP/M, combined with its portability, made it a runaway success. Kildall started a company called Digital Research, Inc. (DRI) in Pacific girls games Grove, California to develop and market CP/M, and for years it was the dominant operating system girls games for personal microcomputers. It was eventually overtaken by Microsoft’s MS-DOS for the IBM PC in the 1980s, but before then it was responsible for a vibrant ecosystem of application programs that contributed to the rapid proliferation of the early personal computers.
To mark the 40 th anniversary of the prototype demonstration in Kildall s backyard tool shed in Pacific Grove in the fall of 1974, the Computer History Museum is pleased to make available, for non-commercial use, the source code of several of the early releases of CP/M.
In the early 1970s, Gary Kildall was an instructor in computer science at the Naval Postgraduate School girls games in Monterey, California. He was also a part-time contractor for Intel, and he began using an Intel development system to create software for that young company s new microprocessors.
In 1974 Kildall wrote a program that allowed microprocessor designers to replace slow paper tape storage with the new fast 8″ floppy disks that were becoming commercially available. Initially girls games called Control Program/Monitor, later renamed Control Program for Microcomputers (“CP/M”), girls games his program proved to have value far beyond fulfilling the requirements of his part-time consulting gig for Intel. When it was fully configured as a commercial operating system in 1976, CP/M elevated a hobbyist activity into a mainstream personal and small business computer girls games tool, and in doing so it laid an important foundation for the personal computer revolution.
Early versions of CP/M were written entirely in PL/M (“Programming Language for Microcomputers”), a high-level systems programming language he developed girls games for Intel in 1972 for its microprocessor girls games development systems [1]. Primarily a subset of the mainframe computer language PL/I, it also incorporated ideas from ALGOL and XPL, and included an integrated macro processor. In an article presented at the 1975 National Computer Conference [2], Kildall called CP/M “modest in structure and scope”, but “allowing access to all machine functions, without becoming completely dependent girls games upon a particular girls games CPU organization.” The story of CP/M

Alien Booya at the time was my absolute favorite. Of course I also played other browser games, but they are unfortunately already been removed from the internet, I had to conclude that my disappointment after a tour of the famous search engines.
Alien Booya Then came the 'real' game era for me when I got my new PC in the house. All parts of Age of Empires, Age Of The Mythology, Pro Cycling Manager and natural GTA San Andreas were everyday fare for me. Browser games, I lost sight of. I mean, who played that then? Nobody! Anyone who is a bit of a gamer named was addicted to the recently launched manga reader PS3 or XBOX 360 and the computer manga reader was only used for erotieke movies and to look at your school site that you are already a third had for that one key where you because of 'lack of time' (read: gaming) could not learn. But then, on that one magical moment, there was light in the darkness. The site that I found when, where browser games were that 1) nice 2) creative and most importantly 3 for me) were not so gigantic difficult. That site was called Newgrounds.com. Besides that Newgrounds provides a platform for game developers also pays attention to art, movies and sound. But let us just to limit the games. Just show an absolute favorite: Flight. Nice your innocent and happy as a child of three feel while you're manga reader on the Internet plays a game where you have to throw your paper plane as far as possible and that plane can make better by buying upgrades. Addictive and it gives you guaranteed a trauma, because as far as I know the game saves your progress if you do not 'es click away sometime accidentally.
I still have as income, I see. Incidentally, I noticed that on Newgrounds own games that are tasty pixellated enjoy great popularity. And if you (which I find very plausible) manga reader retro games like so much fun, you just live off. Finally I might ask you 't weird I just find with praise sprinkle manga reader on Newgrounds. Well, uh, it's like this: Adobe Flash Player and I can not be together through a door. I always updating and he wants not never, unless I do not care demand. Very tiring. manga reader Previously you had not. But the browser games from now on the other hand better. But competition with the real games will no longer turn on. A browser game play but you do once in a while.

Undoubtedly my favorite XBLA title ever. Castle Crashers, the hack

Undoubtedly my favorite XBLA title ever. Castle Crashers, the hack 'n slasher developer The Behemoth, has just served a million gamerts. Below you reaguurders firm are also a few. Thumbs up to the small development team, they would actually have to get a separate achievement for. Check after the jump a gamer on insane mode plays out the game. Like it's nothing.
I thought Alien hominid was only console game newgrounds, but I miss so. Newgrounds is indeed guitar hero a brilliant site, but I always do not want to load the site, or the layout is completely guitar hero fuck't up. A pity really.

When I was in 8th grade (almost 7 years ago O_O) I visited sleeping dogs that site with my classmates every day I found the Ganguro datingsim sleeping dogs very nice. Less fun was when I played off the game at school (hentai end). And Lilium, some Buffy wannabe, Weebl and Bob so 8D I found very entertaining. _________________ Http://succubesje.deviantart.com/ Up
